Enjoy the wild brown trout that live in the waters of Northern New York, this trout is the savior of many rivers which can no longer support native populations of the once abundant brook trout.

The brown trout, imported as a gift from a German baron in 1883 has answered the call to populate watersheds that are too warm or polluted for native species, the brown is known as the "toughest kid on the block" deriving this title from it's abilities to survive the harshest conditions thrown it's way. The brown is the most wary fish in the trout species making it a well sought after game fish by anglers.
