Late Mid June
The later part of June saw hot sunny days and little rain resulting in lower river water levels and an above normal water temperature.
Starting my clients fishing by 5-6 AM was the key, with good action on dry flies till the sun hit the water, from that point on it was all streamer or nymph fishing. Nymphs employed to take fish were a # 8 Ausable Ugly and #10 Telico with the streamer being a # 4 Sirloin.
